Guaranty Corporation Announces Promotion of Gordy Rush to Vice President of Business Development for Guaranty Communications
BATON ROUGE, La. — Guaranty Corporation today announced the promotion of Gordy Rush from Vice President and General Manager of Guaranty Media to Vice President of Business Development for Guaranty Communications, a strategic role that expands his leadership beyond the media division to drive revenue growth across the entire Guaranty family of companies.
Rush’s new position will focus on accelerating business development initiatives not only for Guaranty Media, but also for Gatorworks and other Guaranty Corporation entities. His deep industry expertise, long-standing client relationships, and proven track record in revenue generation position him to unify and elevate growth strategies across the organization.
Rush has spent more than 30 years with Guaranty Media, becoming one of the most respected leaders in Louisiana broadcasting. As General Manager of Guaranty Media in Baton Rouge, he has overseen four of the region’s most influential radio stations:
- 104.5 ESPN Baton Rouge
- Eagle 98.1 – The Rock Station
- 100.7 The Tiger
- Talk 107.3
Under his leadership, Guaranty Media has strengthened its market position, expanded its digital capabilities, and deepened its commitment to client success. His accomplishments earned him the prestigious Radio Wayne Award for Market Manager of the Year, recognizing his impact on both the company and the Baton Rouge broadcasting community.
