THE ROCK STATION

Eagle 98.1, WDGL – Baton Rouge, is a 100-thousand-watt station that Rocks South Louisiana! We’ve been the only rock station here since 1995, so our signal is well known far and wide. Our listeners drive to work with veteran broadcasters Richard Condon and Scott Robb for Condon Uncensored, Rock at work with Scotty Mac, bring it on home with Michelle Southern for “Southern Rock” in the afternoons and close out the evening when Scott opens The Rock Shop at 7pm. Our station has won countless awards over the years on both the local, state and national level.

Eagle 98.1 has also been the flagship home of LSU Sports since 1998, airing football, baseball and men’s basketball games every season through the LSU Sports Radio Network. We are also home to all New Orleans Saints football games.

Michelle Southern

Southern Rock 2 PM - 7 PM

Michelle Southern celebrated 25 years in radio in 2023 and is a 3-time winner of the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters Best Personality in the state award. She has made a niche for herself as a friend on the radio who keeps you company — and rocks your face off.

Scotty Mac is the latest addition to Eagle 98.1 and quite a significant one. No stranger to Baton Rouge, and LSU alum, Scotty brings years of experience to the midday airwaves on the ROCK station.

Scott Robb boasts 35 years behind the microphone, and not only does he help keep Richard in line in the mornings during Condon Uncensored, but he also closes out the evening hosting “The Rock Shop,” weeknights. He is a driving creative force behind Eagle 98.1’s brand, because Scott *knows* radio.

Mark Adams

Weekend Host

Meet Mark Adams is the host of Backstage Pass every Saturday and Sunday from 7pm-Midnight. Mark is a Baton Rouge native who has been around the world and back. He’s a Baton Rouge and Miss Gulf Coast radio veteran who survived the 80’s and a 23 year USNavy submarine career.
