Guaranty Media Appoints Brittany Tully to Creative Manager; Paul Burt Comes Out of Retirement as Chief Engineer

BATON ROUGE, La. Guaranty Media announced two additions to its ever evolving team today, elevating Brittany Tully to Creative Manager and bringing broadcast engineering veteran Paul Burt out of retirement to serve as Chief Engineer.

Tully brings more than 15 years of experience in radio, media, and communications, having held multiple on air and management leadership roles throughout her career. An experienced communicator, on air personality, and marketing strategist, she steps into the creative leadership role after contributing to Guaranty Media’s success both behind the scenes and on the air. She will continue to host The Nite Show with Bri Lynn on 100.7 The Tiger, heard weeknights from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., while expanding her work in creative development, brand strategy, and cross station content planning.

In addition to her creative leadership role, Tully will now serve as producer for Mornings with Brian Haldane, airing weekdays from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Talk 107.3, further strengthening Guaranty Media’s commitment to strong, locally driven content across its talk and music platforms.

Tully most recently served as Senior Communications Manager at BREC’s Baton Rouge Zoo, where she led major marketing and communications initiatives, modernized digital strategy, significantly strengthened digital reach, and served as the Zoo’s primary spokesperson across television, radio, and print media.

“Brittany brings a rare balance of creativity, discipline, and strategic thinking,” said Michelle Southern, Operations Manager at Guaranty Media. “She elevates every project she touches, and her leadership will shape the next chapter of Guaranty Media’s creative direction. From brand development to production to audience engagement, Brittany is the kind of leader who makes the entire team stronger.”

Southern also praised Burt’s return, noting his long record of protecting station identity and engineering integrity. “Paul is one of the most respected engineers in the industry.”

Burt’s five decade career includes engineering leadership across Louisiana, Texas, Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. His work spans studio construction, transmitter modernization, emergency alerting systems, and long term technical planning. He previously served as chief engineer for major clusters including Cumulus Baton Rouge Lafayette and Atlanta, Clear Channel New Orleans, and Border Media San Antonio.

“I’ve spent my entire career building, repairing, and modernizing broadcast systems,” Burt said. “Returning to Guaranty feels like the right challenge at the right time. This team cares deeply about the craft of broadcasting, and I’m proud to help strengthen the technical foundation that supports everything we do on the air.”

The appointments position Guaranty Media for continued growth as the company expands its creative capabilities and strengthens its technical infrastructure while preparing to mark a major milestone the company’s 100th anniversary in 2026. As Guaranty approaches a century of service to Baton Rouge, these moves reflect both the organization’s legacy and its continued investment in innovation, talent, and long term growth.
