Guaranty Media named Rouses Markets Media Partner of the Year
(NEW ORLEANS – LA) Louisiana-based Rouses Markets, recognized as one of the best grocery stores in the country by countless publications, this week named Baton Rouge’s Guaranty Media its Media Partner of the Year. The announcement was made during an awards ceremony at the Rouses Markets Annual Charity Dinner and Vendor Summit in New Orleans.
In business together over several years, in 2022 Guaranty initiated a market-wide in person advertising campaign for Rouses in Baton Rouge that included elaborate on-location pre and post LSU game broadcasts, and weekly live remotes with airstaff from the radio group’s two biggest stations.
Guaranty Operations Manager Chris Elliott along with Head Engineer Beau Wegmann put together a custom set for “Eagle 98.1 Gameday,”
featuring commentary from Baton Rouge veteran radio sports host Charles Hanagriff, alongside announcer Matt Musso on the Flagship Home for LSU Sports. Every Friday, Michelle Southern of Eagle 98.1, and T-Bob Hebert of 1045 ESPN Baton Rouge would anchor live remote broadcasts at various Rouses locations to promote sports party specials, as well as meet and greet listeners and customers with exciting prize giveaways. Rouses is also endorsed by Matt Moscona of the award-winning sports show, After Further Review on 1045 ESPN.

Rouses Markets has more than 60 stores across three states with additional locations under construction including one in North Baton Rouge which will serve as the anchor of redevelopment in the Ardenwood Shopping Center.
