Guaranty Media wins seven Louisiana Association of Broadcasters Prestige Awards, including Station of the Year
BATON ROUGE, La. — Guaranty Media earned seven Louisiana Association of Broadcasters Prestige Awards for Excellence in Radio at the 2026 ceremony, highlighted by Eagle 98.1 being named Station of the Year in the large market category.
The company’s stations and team members were recognized across programming, production, promotions and community impact, reinforcing Guaranty Media’s leadership in Louisiana broadcasting.

- Eagle 98.1 — Promotion of the Year (large market) for the Dream Pool Sweepstakes
- Guaranty Media — Community Service Award (large market) for the Guaranty 100 Initiative
- Michelle Southern, Eagle 98.1 — Lagniappe Award
- “After Further Review” with Matt Moscona, 104.5 ESPN Baton Rouge — Best Sports Show (large market)
- Paul O’Neill, 104.5 ESPN Baton Rouge — Producer of the Year
- “Mornings with Brian Haldane,” Talk 107.3 — Best Election Coverage (large market)
The Lagniappe Award, presented to Eagle 98.1’s Michelle Southern, recognizes individuals who go above and beyond to advance broadcasting through innovation, creativity and leadership.
“This reflects the consistency and standard our team holds itself to,” said Gordy Rush, vice president of business development for Guaranty Communications. “We’ve built a culture where great content, strong production and real community impact all matter equally.”
The awards highlight sustained success across Guaranty Media’s brands and talent. “After Further Review” with Matt Moscona has earned Best Sports Show honors multiple times in recent years. “Mornings with Brian Haldane” on Talk 107.3 has also received repeated recognition for its election coverage. Paul O’Neill continues a multi-year run as Producer of the Year. Eagle 98.1’s back-to-back Station of the Year honors reflect continued excellence across all areas of operation.
Guaranty Media also received the Community Service Award for its Guaranty 100 Initiative, created by President and CEO Flynn Foster to celebrate Guaranty Corporation’s 100 years of service in the Baton Rouge community. The initiative raised and donated more than $100,000 each to Dreams Come True of Louisiana and the ALS Association.
The LAB Prestige Awards recognize excellence in programming, production, community service and overall performance across Louisiana broadcasting.
