Local Woman Wins Dream Pool Sweepstakes Benefiting Dreams Come True of Louisiana
BATON ROUGE, La. — Guaranty Media’s family of radio stations and Duplessis Pool Builders announced today that Deana Coffey of Walker has been selected as the winner of the 2025 Dream Pool Sweepstakes, a fundraising initiative supporting Dreams Come True of Louisiana. The campaign invited residents to donate for a chance to win a custom in-ground swimming pool while helping grant dreams for Louisiana children facing life-threatening illnesses.
Coffey received the news during a live phone call with Eagle 98.1’s Michelle Southern, who informed her that her entry had been selected from thousands of donations submitted throughout the campaign period. Coffey, who is in the process of building a new home for her family, said the win felt like “the best Christmas present ever.”
The sweepstakes raised $21,700 for Dreams Come True.
“When I donated, I knew even if I didn’t win, the money was going to something meaningful,” Coffey said. “Knowing it helped kids made the decision easy.”
Guaranty Media, which will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2026, emphasized the importance of community partnerships and the continued commitment to serving listeners across South Louisiana.
“This sweepstakes is special because it brings together local generosity, a great local business, and a life-changing charity,” said Southern. “We’re proud to be part of something that gives back in such a real way.”
